I'm a cross country coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 590 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Coach Arif: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
