Coach Apio
Gymnastics coach, Kasarani Athletic Club
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Kasarani Athletic Club
- Since 1985
- English, Swahili
I've coached gymnastics at Kasarani Athletic Club since 1985. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Apio
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
