Coach Aparecida
Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇧🇷 Belém, Pará, Brazil
- Belém Hope Football Club
- Since 1990
- Portuguese, English
I'm a boxing coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 1,760 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Aparecida
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Aparecida: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
