I coached baseball at Southampton Willow Creek Boxing Gym from 1999 to 2022. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Coach Anil
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Anil: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
