I coached cricket at Guadalupe Meadowbank Community Club from 2001 to 2023. Most of my players were between 10 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Coach Ángel: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
