Coach Andile
Netball and fitness coach, Johannesburg
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- Johannesburg Boxing Gym
- Since 1979
- English, French
I've coached netball at Johannesburg Boxing Gym since 1979. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Andile
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Andile: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
