Coach Andi

Youth rugby coach and mentor

  • 🇮🇩 Jakarta Barat, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
  • Jakarta Barat Boxing Gym
  • Since 2000
  • English, Indonesian
I've coached rugby at Jakarta Barat Boxing Gym since 2000. Most of my players were between 11 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Coach Andi

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

You coached me in 2008. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Lagos.
