Coach Amit
Chess and fitness coach, Kochi
- 🇮🇳 Kochi, Kerala, India
- 2003 to 2016
- English, Hindi
I coached chess at Kochi Athletic Club from 2003 to 2016. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Coach Amit: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Manchester.

You coached me in 2023. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Guarulhos.
