Coach Amani
Badminton coach, Redwood Athletic Club
- 🇰🇪 Mombasa, Mombasa, Kenya
- Redwood Athletic Club
- 2007 to 2015
- English, Swahili
I coached badminton at Redwood Athletic Club from 2007 to 2015. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
