Coach Amal
Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇪🇬 Shubra, Cairo, Egypt
- Shubra Valley View Sports Club
- 2008 to 2020
- English, Arabic
I coached hockey at Shubra Valley View Sports Club from 2008 to 2020. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.

You taught us how to lose properly. Worth more than any trophy! Greetings from Hobart.
