For 21 years I ran the dance program at Newcastle upon Tyne Sunrise Youth Club in Newcastle upon Tyne. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
