Coach Álvaro
Boxing and fitness coach, Coyoacán
- 🇲🇽 Coyoacán, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Sakura Athletic Club
- Since 1992
- Spanish
I've coached boxing at Sakura Athletic Club since 1992. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.

If you played for me, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.

What gifts mean to Coach Álvaro: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
