Coach Álvaro
Rowing coach, Riverside Community Club
- 🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States
- Since 1990
- English, Spanish
For 36 years I've run the rowing program at Riverside Community Club in Riverside. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I watch every football match going.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Coach Álvaro
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Álvaro: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
