Coach Alok
Youth athletics coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Thane, Maharashtra, India
- Thane Frangipani Athletic Club
- 1979 to 1989
- English
For ten years I ran the athletics program at Thane Frangipani Athletic Club in Thane. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Coach Alok: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
