Coach Alok
Youth martial arts coach and mentor
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai Boxing Gym
- 1997 to 2024
- English, Hindi
For 27 years I ran the martial arts program at Mumbai Boxing Gym in Mumbai. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

You coached me in 2023. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Likoni.
