Coach Alexa
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- San Francisco Holy Cross Football Club
- 2006 to 2020
- English
For 14 years I ran the rowing program at San Francisco Holy Cross Football Club in San Francisco. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Coach Alexa
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Alexa: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

I still think about the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Guadalupe.
