Coach Akoth
Youth cycling coach and mentor

- Nairobi Holy Cross Boxing Gym
- 1994 to 2013

I'm a cycling coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 1,060 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
More about Coach Akoth
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Akoth: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
