Coach Akoth
Cross country and fitness coach, Kikuyu
- 🇰🇪 Kikuyu, Kiambu, Kenya
- Kikuyu Football Club
- 1992 to 2002
- English, Swahili
For ten years I ran the cross country program at Kikuyu Football Club in Kikuyu. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.

What gifts mean to Coach Akoth: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
