For 16 years I ran the tennis program at Embakasi Athletic Club in Embakasi. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Akinyi
If you played for me, you probably remember the long bus ride home.
What gifts mean to Coach Akinyi: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
