Coach Akello
Youth tennis coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Nakuru, Nakuru, Kenya
- Jacaranda Youth Club
- 2011 to 2023
- English, Swahili
For twelve years I ran the tennis program at Jacaranda Youth Club in Nakuru. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
