I coached softball at Davao City Athletic Club from 1986 to 2013. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Coach Aileen
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Aileen: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
