For 24 years I've run the tennis program at Rawalpindi Community Club in Rawalpindi. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Afshan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Afshan: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
