Coach Afshan
Volleyball and fitness coach, Rawalpindi
- 🇵🇰 Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan
- Rawalpindi Football Club
- 1987 to 2007
- English
For 20 years I ran the volleyball program at Rawalpindi Football Club in Rawalpindi. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never once raised my voice.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Coach Afshan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the time the class pet escaped. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Rajkot.
