Coach Adaeze
Rowing and fitness coach, Benin City
- 🇳🇬 Benin City, Edo, Nigeria
- Benin City Swimming Club
- 2018 to 2025
- English, Yoruba
For eight years I ran the rowing program at Benin City Swimming Club in Benin City. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Coach Adaeze
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Coach Adaeze: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
