Coach Abubakar
Table tennis coach, Lakeview Athletic Club
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria

- 1987 to 1996
- English, Hausa
I coached table tennis at Lakeview Athletic Club from 1987 to 1996. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Coach Abubakar: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
