Coach Abril
Youth cricket coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Phoenix Boxing Gym
- Since 2013
- English
I've coached cricket at Phoenix Boxing Gym since 2013. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
I'm still learning every day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Abril: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
