Coach Abril
Youth tennis coach and mentor
- 🇨🇴 Palmira, Valle del Cauca, Colombia
- Palmira Sakura Athletic Club
- Since 1997
- English, French
For 29 years I've run the tennis program at Palmira Sakura Athletic Club in Palmira. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Coach Abril
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Abril: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
