Coach Abosede
Youth boxing coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Gwagwalada, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
- Gwagwalada Unity Athletic Club
- 1986 to 2015
- English, Yoruba
For 29 years I ran the boxing program at Gwagwalada Unity Athletic Club in Gwagwalada. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Coach Abosede
If you played for me, you probably remember the last day before the summer holidays.
What gifts mean to Coach Abosede: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
