I've coached basketball at Eastgate Boxing Gym since 2006. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Coach Abigail: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
