Coach Abena
Coached baseball for 30 years in Tema
- 🇬🇭 Tema, Greater Accra, Ghana
- Since 1996
- English, Twi, French
I've coached baseball at Tema Athletic Club since 1996. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
More about Coach Abena
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Coach Abena: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
