I coached cross country at Lakeview Football Club from 2003 to 2023. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
