For 17 years I have been the art teacher at Summit Technical College. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,020 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Cláudia
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
