Claudia E. Rivera

Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇲🇽 Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico
  • Brookfield Workshop
  • 2003 to 2012
  • Spanish, English
I've worked in thatching from 2003 to 2012. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 190 apprentices. I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I make terrible puns.

More about Claudia

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
