Claudia A. Urbina
Teacher at Oakwood Public School, loves physics

- English, Spanish
I taught physics at Oakwood Public School in San Diego from 2018 to 2025. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 140 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Claudia
If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember that terrible school play.

What gifts mean to Claudia: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
