I taught history at Atlas Primary School in Dortmund from 1987 to 2005. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 560 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

I was in your Grade 6 class in 1992. You believed I could do it before I did. Truly.
