Clara Oliver
Brass band player and teacher in Detroit
- 🇺🇸 Detroit, Michigan, United States
- Detroit Choir
- Since 1979
- English, French
I play brass band and tabla. I started in 1979 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 6 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.

If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Clara: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
