Clara C. May
Economics and statistics teacher, Springfield
- 🇺🇸 Springfield, Illinois, United States
- Kingsway Grammar School
- 1997 to 2015

I taught economics at Kingsway Grammar School in Springfield from 1997 to 2015. Most days I taught Year 7, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
More about Clara
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Clara: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
