I've coached hockey at San Diego Boxing Gym since 2005. Most of my players were between 10 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Claire
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Claire: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
