Claire A. Figueroa
Teacher at London Middle School, loves chemistry
- 🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom
- London Middle School
- 1996 to 2015
- English
For 19 years I was the chemistry teacher at London Middle School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Claire
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Claire: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
