Citlali T. Rivera
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Flint, Michigan, United States
- Old Sunrise Repairs
- Since 2009
- English
I've worked in blacksmithing since 2009. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 650 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Citlali
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Citlali: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
