I taught English literature at Philadelphia Academy in Philadelphia from 1993 to 2009. Most days I taught Year 9, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Citlali: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
