27 years teaching economics in Oakland
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Technical College
- 2007 to 2019
- English, Spanish
I taught economics at Oakland Technical College in Oakland from 2007 to 2019. Most days I taught first-year students, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Citlali
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Citlali: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
