Citlali B. Rivera

Youth chess coach and mentor

  • 1999 to 2013

For 14 years I ran the chess program at Bamboo Athletic Club in Portland. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
