Chukwuemeka Uche Mba
Cycling coach, Abuja Athletic Club
- 🇳🇬 Abuja, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
- 1987 to 2010
- English, Igbo
For 23 years I ran the cycling program at Abuja Athletic Club in Abuja. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Chukwuemeka
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
