Chukwuemeka Salami
Swimming coach, Abuja Swimming Club
- 🇳🇬 Abuja, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
- 1983 to 1997
- English, Hausa
For 14 years I ran the swimming program at Abuja Swimming Club in Abuja. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Chukwuemeka
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
