I've worked in pottery from 1978 to 2001. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 900 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 18 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Christo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Christo: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
