Christo H. Govender
Early years and Spanish teacher, Soweto
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Crown Middle School

I teach early years at Crown Middle School in Soweto since 1980. Most days I teach the youngest children, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I've run the drama society after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Christo
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Christo: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
