Christina Tzortzis
Sitar player and teacher in Thessaloniki
- 🇬🇷 Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece
- Thessaloniki Music School
- 1979 to 2000
- English, Greek
I've played sitar from 1979 to 2000, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 18 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Christina
I wrote my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Christina: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
