I taught history at Baobab Secondary School in Calamba from 1982 to 2013. Most days I taught teenagers, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
