I've coached gymnastics at Bakersfield Heritage Swimming Club since 2005. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I garden badly but happily.
I'm still learning every day.
